Violent Dealer

A Dutch-German group of perpetrators who sold large quantities of narcotics in Darknet was found to be trafficking more than 500 kilograms of amphetamine and several kilograms of heroin, MDMA and ecstasy tablets, including the defendant among their customers.

The name of the defendant was found to be the purchaser of 500 grams of amphetamine. During an apartment search, narcotics investigators found not only large quantities of amphetamine and marijuana, but also evidence of a long-standing drug trade by the defendant.

A 26-year-old from Achern must now answer for drug trafficking and bodily injury before the regional court Baden-Baden. During the arrest, the accused put up strong resistance and even managed to escape for a short time.

Still illegal in Germany,

Marijuana and Amphetamine ordered

As early as June 2017, the unemployed and previously convicted defendant is said to have trafficked 120 grams of marijuana and subsequently increased the trade from year to year. In 2020, the defendant had also resold cocaine, amphetamine, hashish and marijuana to numerous customers, some of them in the 100 gram range. Separate investigations have been initiated against these buyers, they too have been visited by the police and now face charges.

Resisting arrest

During the apartment search the accused behaved extremely unreasonably, writes the public prosecutor’s office. He is said to have injured, insulted and bitten several police officers and to have set his dog on them.

The defendant’s attempt to snatch the service weapon from one of the police officers was prevented. When the accused was then to be taken to the hospital in Achern to have his blood taken, he managed to escape despite being guarded by the police. The public prosecutor’s office immediately obtained an arrest warrant from the district court. On May 25, the accused was picked up and arrested. Since then he has been in custody pending trial.

The trial is scheduled to begin on November 20, and the indictment is expected to be long. The massive resistance and the attempt to grab a weapon of the policeman should have a very negative effect on the accused.
